Sally moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2001 where she worked in various hands-on roles throughout the equine industry, these skills led to a career as a specialist bloodstock insurance broker and underwriter.

Sally has insurance qualifications from the UK and Australian/New Zealand Institutes. She also has a Higher National Diploma in Equine Studies.

Sally has extensive experience in negotiating and placing insurance on horses both in the UK and New Zealand. Sally is a horse owner and describes herself as passionate about all aspects of the equine industry.  

Jane joined the JLT Bloodstock team in 2006.

Jane grew up with horses and has been a competitor in show jumping, eventing and dressage for 20 years. Jane currently competes her eventer and also owns a broodmare and yearling filly.

Prior to working in the insurance industry Jane honed her skills working in the UK and Australia with eventing and thoroughbred horses.  Jane also held the position of foreperson at a leading New Zealand racing stable.

Originally from Invercargill, Hugh has spent many years living in Australia, where he was a Certified Insurance & Finance Broker and Sales Manager in the property development industry before transferring to the bloodstock sector.

Hugh’s busy lifestyle includes running his own business ‘Crawford Media and Management’. His role as manager of New Zealand Jockey Michael Walker has been a very satisfying one with Michael winning the 2010 New Zealand Derby.

Hugh has worked with a number of leading establishments including Emirates Park, Glenlogan Park, Arrowfield Training Centre and Team Rogerson.

Hugh attends most of the major carnivals and sales.

Liz Jenkins is originally from the UK and joined JLT Bloodstock in 2008.  Liz has a keen interest in horses from a young age and is always keen to expand her level of knowledge of the industry.
